Bamboo Low Bowl - natural

Marrying modern design with traditional bamboo craftsmanship, this low bowl has a sleek low profile and is downright gorgeous. Made from 100% organically grown bamboo, each bowl is coiled and shaped by hand, then applied with a natural food safe lacquer derived from the cashew nut tree. It's then finished with a durable food safe PU lacquer. The result is a remarkably durable waterproof matte finish in a lovely natural colour. Completely food safe and  suitable for both hot and cold foods.

Cleans easily with warm, soapy water or damp cloth. Hand wash recommended, no dishwasher. 

Made in Vietnam using cottage industry. The bowls are coiled and lacquered by families in rural villages to supplement farming income.

Produced using a 'water based' no formaldehyde glue.
