More information:
The Fruit Guard
reusable fruit container is BPA-free, dishwasher-safe and 100% recyclable. It helps prevent food wastage.
The
Fruit Guard reusable food container was specially designed to accommodate the majority of apple, orange, peach & pear sizes but is also perfect for grapes and cherries too.
Mix n' match the tops and bottoms of your interchangeable Fruit Guards to create your own cool container combo!
The hinges on the
Fruit Guard are 'active hinges', meaning the plastic molecules are specially aligned to provide for maximum strength in the thinnest form. As long as the hinges are not twisted, they will not break with regular opening and closing.
This unique fruit cover was created by a trio of emergency department doctors from Vancouver's St. Paul's Hospital. The guards themselves are manufactured in Maple Ridge, BC.
LIME TIP: Remember to always wash plastic products before you use them the first time.
