Unlike a hood, the wide brim actually keeps rain off the face and the velcro chin strap ensures the hat stays on. It also allows peripheral vision, which is somewhat obstructed by a hood and the colourful patterns ensure the child will want to wear it! Made of 100% cotton fabric coated with waterproof polyeurothene and lined on the inside with an ultra-soft viscose from bamboo cotton blend to help keep her head warm. Made in Canada.
