Three pieces of ancient Roman glass suspended from varying lengths of chain make this stunning necklace the ultimate in recycled jewelry. The beautifully rustic glass beads date back to the Roman Empire and are estimated to be 900 to 1200 years old. They range in colour from sea green to deep olive, ensuring each necklace is unique and no two are alike. The beads hang from a sterling silver figure 8 chain that is 18" in length plus a 1" extender allowing you to adjust this recycled glass necklace to compliment almost any neckline.

Due to the nature of the recycled materials used, no two necklaces are alike and the bead will vary in colour from the image pictured.

This necklace is presented in a gorgeous hand decorated tin. 

The glass from which these beads were made was unearthed in the last few years in Afganistan which in the time this glass was made was part of the Roman Empire

The glass beads still have sedimental crust intact, which adds to their rustic charm.
