Lavish & Lime in the Press
Boon
Boon makes a fun BPA-free no-spill sippy cup that looks like no other sippy cup on the market. Comparable to a shape of a donut with a hat, the boon sippy cup has an ergonomic two handed grip, perfect for small hands. Babyvibe product tester Kaylee, one, enjoys her light-weight durable sippy cup. She certainly loves drinking from it. The body is made out of Polypropylen.
Laken Water Bottle
Similar to SIGG, there’s the Laken Water Bottle. Made in Spain, Laken makes fun junior water bottles that share the same benefits of SIGG bottles and are free of BPA. What sets apart the Laken from other similar bottles is that the Laken bottles have 30 per cent thicker walls, which makes them more resistant to blows. That’s good to know!
Boon snack ball
We love this new item for holding snacks. Made by Boon and from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene and Polypropylene, it’s the snack ball. This truly fun container shaped like a ball has enough room to carry a substantial snack but is small enough to easily fit in any bag. It’s also fun to play with and if your child happens to toss it across the room, it won’t easily break.

You know how some boutiques, though small, manage to have a capsule collection of wonderful things? Well Lavish & Lime, the newest entry into our online shopping oeuvre, recreates that feeling online.
First a little note about why we, as mamas, love online shopping. We can do it on our own time, in our pajamas if we so desire, and we needn’t worry that our tots are destroying the store while we browse (the house maybe, but not the store). Plus there’s always that tingle of anticipation when the postman arrives at the door, parcel in hand.
But back to Lavish & Lime. This relatively new boutique, while not specifically a mum and baby site, has lots of lovely family finds. For ourselves and our kids we like the aluminum Laken Water Bottles from Spain, a nice alternative to the more ubiquitous Swiss water bottles made über popular by Oprah. And if we were going to splurge we’d get the Juicy Slices Bracelet which is not only stylish, but would easily do double duty entertaining baby with its bright colours and jingly bits.
In their baby & kids section you’ll find diaper bags custom-designed for Lavish & Lime from Astrosatchel , lots of organic toys, organic onesies and a Learning Crocodile that we’ve had our eye on for a while. They also offer a great paraben-free Baby Wash that is full of ingredients we can actually pronounce and a fun and functional Baby Bum Spray that does what it claims, and makes cleaning dirty baby bottoms quicker and easier. How can that not be a good thing?
We also appreciate that husband and wife team, Colin and Louise Campbell, source Canadian-made products whenever possible and focus on hunting down naturally-made products that are environmentally friendly as well.
So, just like that little neighbourhood boutique where you like browse, we predict Lavish & Lime will become an oft-visited online destination as well as a relied-upon source of gifts for both big and small.

Organic Plush
Based in Vancouver, online gift store Lavish & Lime offers an adorable plush organic bunny by German toymaker Sigikid. Made of organic cotton and filled with organic lamb’s wool, we think the organic bunny is a perfect non-toxic treat from the Easter Bunny. Super soft and sweet, the bunny is ideal for cuddling and snuggling.
Petite in size (about 20 centimetres), the bunny is easy for little hands to carry around. In addition to the organic bunny, our hearts melted when we saw the organic frog rattle, organic musical frog and the organic mouse snuggly – they are all too cute.
Suitable for any age, the organic plush are machine washable, which will come in handy because we see these loveable creatures becoming your child’s life-long friends. Lavish & Lime is the only e-tailer in Canada to offer Sigikid.

eBUY: Retro Bowling Set Lavishandlime.com
While tons of fun, bowling has never been a particularly stylish
activity. In our books, any hobb that requires wearing borrowed shoes
is dubious at best. And don't get us started on those icky polyester
team shirts.
Thankfully, with this adorably retro 10-pin set from Vancouver-based
Lavish & Lime, you can roll all those strikes whilst wearing any
footwear you darn well want.
